As the Head of Service for Human Resources, the post is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the human resources processes within Anheddau. This includes everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee exit procedures, ensuring that the processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

As an essential part of the strategic leadership team, the post holder will use their expertise and understanding of developing and embedding forward thinking, innovative operational infrastructure and Human Resources approaches to services, by influencing, leading, and managing processes relating to employee relations, recruitment, and retention and employee engagement.

The role will require you to deliver a professional Human Resources service with precision and passion. You will provide clear, consistent and outcome focused advice, guidance support and coaching to managers on a range of Human Resources activities in line with agreed policies and procedures, best practice, professional standards and legal requirements

Specific areas of strategic oversight include matters related to: marketing and leading the HR championing an open culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) throughout the organisation. You will also ensure that the Human Resources initiatives are implemented effectively and efficiently.

 

The post holder will also be expected to lead on and evaluate the Human Resources Strategy to ensure it takes a strategic approach to people management, organisational development ensuring that it evolves in such a way that achieves cohesion/synergy between the strategies and respond to the strategic direction of services.  

 

In order to achieve this, there needs to be a focus on the core values of the organisation and recognition and understanding as to how these core values are the basis for continued employee engagement.
